6th International Hybrid Rice Symposium was held in Hyderabad today. The
three day Symposiam is to highlight on enhancing yeilds in India, input
use efficiency to produce over 2 metric tonnes of additional rice
annually to feed the growing population in the next 15-20 years.
Research is on producing finer variety of Rice. All photos: P. V.
