Indian Wrestler Kartar Singh has created history by winning the title in 97 kilogram category for the 16th time in the World Veteran Wrestling Championship, presently on at Budhapest, Hungary.
Office Secretary of Punjab Wrestling Association, Pawan Kumar has informed that Kartar Singh won the title by defeating wrestler J. Detmar of Austria in just 2.20 minutes. Padamshri Kartar Singh, who is presently serving as Inspector General in Punjab Police has represented India four consecutive times in Olympics. He has won two Golds and One Silver in Asian Games also.
